Importance and general aspects:
This street connecting Hadrian’s Gate to Hıdırlık Tower through the Kesik Minaret Mosque.It is the main route of Kaleiçi. On the shore of the street there are Suna-İnan Kıraç Museum, Aya Yorgi Church, Kaleiçi Museum and Kesik Minaret. While some of the traditional buildings on the street continue to function as residences, some of them serve as hotels, restaurants, bars and cafes.
