Hıdırlık Tower is a structure which has survived to a great extent in the Roman period Antalya. The tower, which was built as a monumental tomb in the 1st century AD, was converted into a defense tower in the Early Byzantine Period. At the center of the superstructure of the tower, where a Turkish flag was fluctuating today, there was probably a statue of the owner of the grave in the Antique Period10.
